The top receiver in the 2020 class has shed his stripe.
Five-star wide receiver Julian Fleming is the latest Ohio State freshman to "officially" become a Buckeye after losing his black stripe on Saturday.
Fleming is the third of Ohio State's four highly-touted freshman receivers to lose his stripe, following Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Gee Scott Jr., and the fifth freshman overall.
Fleming is the highest-rated member of Ohio State's 2020 freshman class, coming to Columbus as the top receiver No. 3 overall player in the nation. He is the highest-rated wide receiver ever to sign with Ohio State, topping Garrett Wilson from the 2019 class.
