Bradley Roby is staying with the Houston Texans.

The former Ohio State cornerback has agreed to a three-year, $36 million contract extension with the Texans, according to multiple reports.

Per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Roby's deal includes roughly $17 million in guaranteed money.

Roby initially joined the Texans last season on a one-year, $10 million deal, and was set to become a free agent when the new NFL league year began on Wednesday. Instead, he'll be staying in Houston on a long-term basis, where he'll continue to pair up with fellow former Ohio State cornerback Gareon Conley in the Texans' secondary.

Former Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde, who also spent last season with the Texans, is expected to hit free agency this week after reportedly declining a contract offer from the team.

Roby, who started all 10 games in which he played for the Texans last season, recorded 38 total tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), eight pass deflections and one forced fumble in 2019.

A first-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft, Roby is entering his seventh season in the NFL, having spent his first five years in the league with the Denver Broncos.
