Coach Coombs is coming home.
Ohio State formally announced the return of former defensive backs coach Kerry Coombs on Tuesday afternoon, introducing Coombs as the team's new defensive coordinator and secondary coach.
Coombs is returning to Columbus after two years on Mike Vrabel's staff with the Tennessee Titans, and Buckeyes past and present were elated to hear the news and took to social media to show their excitement.
