Every week, Eleven Warriors will dive into the mentions of Ohio State's coaches and players to bring you the #HotTakes and ramblings of Buckeye Nation. This week, we're peeking at the reactions from Ohio State's 52-3 thrashing of Rutgers.

For the second consecutive week, Ohio State's offense did whatever it wanted against an overmatched defense, piling up 579 yards of total offense in the 49-point victory.

The defense flexed its muscle after a disappointing opener, however, limiting the Scarlet Knights to a meager 134 total yards while forcing two turnovers.

There was plenty to like if you favor the team wearing Scarlet and Gray. Let's dive in.

@ Urban Meyer

Before the game even started, Michigan fans spent some time talking trash to Urban Meyer—the man who has beaten their team six consecutive times—because the Wolverines were taking it to MAC-member Western Michigan.

To their credit, Wolverines quarterback Shea Patterson was impressive, completing 12 entire passes for 125 enthusiastic yards.

While the Wolverines were barking, Meyer was at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Oddly enough, many of you tweeted pictures of your dogs at Meyer. Please continue to do this. I am a big fan.

Seriously. Do not stop doing this. I need it.

Yes, this staff needs your help identifying recruits.

Yes, this coach needs your instructions to fix the special teams.

Yes, Dwayne Haskins would've kept Iowa from hanging 50+ on last year's defense.

Stay irate, fam.

Well, 49-point wins still can't help some people break through their glass case of emotion.

@ Ryan Day

Everyone loves Meyer's temporary replacement.

This offense has a clear, desperate need for playmakers, coach. Please, you must see reason.

@ Dwayne Haskins

The man of the hour, or the first two weeks, rather, earned high praise after completing 20-of-23 passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns (against zero interceptions).

I'm trying to think what I do even half as good as Simba throws a deep ball. I guess I'm pretty good at circling the food court during peak free sample hours. Real relentless effort kind of stuff.

"Good job."

And without further delay, the tweet of the week goes to my man Andy.

@ Tate Martell

Have you heard about how the Buckeyes have two quarterbacks?

Ohio State's redshirt freshman showed out in his own right, completing all 10 of his passes for 121 yards and a touchdown to complement a game-high 95 rushing yards and another score.

That Tate Marshall is one heck of a runner.

Actually, upon further review, the Internet is good.

@ Nick Bosa

Nick Bosa has been a dominant force for Ohio State's defense, but he's seen as frequently in the backfield as he is taking the extra moment to make a kid's day.

Once Bosa got on the field, it was a little unfriendlier. The junior defensive end led the team with five tackles, three of which came behind the line of scrimmage. But after Rutgers left tackle Tariq Cole pointed out that he had never surrendered a sack against Bosa, it was only a matter of time.

Nice, we're all supremely attractive now.

Cheers, and until next week—when the local squad hits the road for the first time with a matchup against No. 16 TCU—stay tweetin' Buckeye fans.
