We're just weeks away from the Buckeyes taking the field against Oregon State to start the season, but it seems the closer we get, the harder it is to wait.

Especially given all of the off-the-field news of the past few weeks, I knew many of you are just itching for actual, on-field football to start, and we're all right there with you.

While we can't speed up time and bring you to the season opener any sooner, I took the liberty of compiling some of the highlights from the week's practices to hold you over.

We'll start with Binjimen Victor beating Jeffrey Okudah deep for a touchdown on a nice throw from Tate Martell:

Nick Bosa said Isaiah Prince is the best tackle he's faced and that and "everybody will find that out this year.” We got a peek at the daily battle that wages between Bosa and Prince in practice:

We got to see a little frosh-on-frosh action in the circle as freshmen Jaelen Gill and Cameron Brown faced off, both with their black stripes still attached.

Victor got the better of Okudah earlier in the week on a ball thrown from Tate Martell, but this time Okudah stepped in from of Martell's pass and knocked it down:

Ohio State kicks off the season in Ohio Stadium on Sept. 1 at noon against Oregon State. Folks, we're almost there.
