Two days before his final home game in Ohio Stadium, Jackson Hayes has officially become a Buckeye.
The senior walk-on linebacker lost his black stripe during practice on Wednesday, which you can see in the video above.
Hayes, a local product of Dublin Coffman High School, has not appeared in a game for the Buckeyes but earned his black stripe through his work on the scout-team defense this season.
Hayes is one of 19 Ohio State seniors set to be honored when the Buckeyes hold Senior Day ceremonies before Saturday's game against Illinois.
