Ohio State's championship hopes were pronounced dead as soon as the carcass arrived back in Columbus following a blowout loss to Iowa.

However, this is college football. A lot can change in a week, especially in November.

Following Ohio State's big win over Michigan State and a weekend of nationwide chaos, oddsmaker Bovada upped Ohio State's championship odds from 75/1 to 16/1. (For the uninitiated: This means you'd win 16 dollars for every dollar placed on Ohio State.)

Other contenders: Alabama (10/11), Oklahoma (4/1), Clemson (8/1), Miami (8/1), Auburn (10/1), Georgia (12/1), and Wisconsin (12/1).

Ohio State at 16/1 is on a tier by itself before odds take a plunge all the way to USC at 66/1.

Michigan State, listed at 100/1 last week, is off the board. Michigan appears at 75/1, down from 100/1 a week ago.
