Dre'Mont Jones Seen Wearing Leg Brace After Practice

Ohio State star defensive tackle Dre'Mont Jones was a surprise scratch last week in the Buckeyes' rout of Rutgers.

According to the university, Jones scraped his leg midweek on a locker, an injury requiring stitches that would sideline him for one, maybe two weeks.

After practice Tuesday, Colin Hass-Hill of The Lantern spotted Jones wearing a bulky knee brace.

I'm no doctor, but I have had stitches, and they didn't require anything that complicated.

Urban Meyer, speaking Monday at his weekly presser, ruled Jones out against Maryland.
