Fans wanting to see the No. 3 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft in action will have to wait at least another week.

Friday, the San Diego Chargers ruled out defensive end Joey Bosa for Sunday's season home opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The franchise cited a nagging hamstring injury as the reason Bosa didn't practice all week.

According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, this means Bosa isn't a "sure thing" to be active next week against the Colts in Indianapolis.

Bosa missed last Sunday's overtime loss to the Chiefs due to the hamstring sidelining him after turbulent contract negotiations scuttled his training camp.

The 0-1 Chargers host the 0-1 Jaguars at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
