Ohio State survived a scare in Bloomington this weekend, beating unranked Indiana 34-27 in a game that came down to the final play. Despite this performance, the Buckeyes again find themselves at the top of the Coaches Poll.

The close call did cost Ohio State a few first place votes as their total fell from 61 to 50.

The Big Ten Conference has five teams in this week's rankings — No. 1 Ohio State, No. 3 Michigan State, No. 14 Northwestern, No. 21 Michigan, and No. 23 Iowa. Northwestern and Michigan's position in the poll sets up an intriguing 3:30 BTN match-up next weekend as the Wolverines host the Wildcats in the Big House.

Ohio State plays host to unranked Maryland in a noon contest this weekend.
