The wait is almost over.

Five-star prospect J.T. Tuimoloau, a defensive lineman from Eastside Catholic in Sammamish, Washington, and one of the highest-ranked players in the 2021 recruiting class – and a potential topper to what's already one of Ohio State's best recruiting classes ever – will announce his college decision at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Ohio State has been viewed as a frontrunner for Tuimoloau, but he also made official vists to Washington, USC and most notably, Oregon. The latter appears to be Ohio State's top competition to land the talented 6-foot-4 defensive end, who also played tight end in high school.

Buckeye fans have been following the recruitment of Tuimoloau for the better part of two years. On Sunday afternoon, they will find out whether he'll be suiting up for the Buckeyes or one of their rivals, bringing an extra dose of fireworks on the Fourth of July.
