Every weekend in the fall, thousands of high school football teams line up and take their shot at prep glory. The morning Prep Tracker is your final stop for the names, numbers and scores that mattered to Ohio State's recruiting efforts.

AERIAL ASSAULT

Chaparral's Jack Miller had a regular Friday night this past week ... regular if you're Jack Miller that is. The 2020 Ohio State quarterback commit threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns on 15-of-25 passing in a 60-3 blowout of Mountain Ridge.

The win moves Chaparral (Scottsdale, Az.) to 4-1 this season and serves as a bounce back victory from Week 4's 45-37 loss to Saguaro. Miller, a four-star pro-style signal caller, now has 1,534 passing yards in five games. He's completed 86-of-155 attempts alongside a 15-5 touchdown-interception ratio. Friday's win was the first game he's played this season without throwing a pick.

Miller's teammate Darvon Hubbard, also a 2020 Ohio State commit, did not play in Friday's game with an ankle injury.

Offensive guard Luke Wypler (Montvale, N.J.), who committed to Ohio State in July, was the only other 2020 recruit to enjoy a win Friday night. Wypler's St. Joseph Regional Green Knights upended Pope John XXIII by a 31-7 final, a win where Wypler and the offensive line paved the way for 401 rushing yards and 502 total yards.

SUFFERING SETBACKS

Ohio State's top 2020 recruit, St. Xavier offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. (Cincinnati, Ohio) played in a 19-14 loss to Archbishop Moeller Friday night. The loss drops St. X's record to 2-3 but, per usual, the Bombers still have a shot at the state playoffs. Their five remaining opponents have a combined record of 16-9 and are all playoff contenders.

In the loss, St. Xavier struggled to move the ball against Moeller's stingy defense. The Bombers got their first score on a 30-yard interception return in the first quarter and didn't score again until the fourth, trailing 19-7. The win was Moeller's first over St. X since 2014.

Four-star offensive lineman Jake Wray (Marietta, Ga.) was also in action as his Blue Devils fell 21-14 to St. John's out of Washington D.C. Wray, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound tackle, saw his team suffer a fourth loss overall and a fourth loss in its non-region schedule.

Marietta is off this coming week before returning to action Oct. 5, hosting North Paulding.

Last but not least in Ohio State's 2020 recruiting class, four-star safety Lejond Cavazos and IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) fell in a high-profiled matchup against Mater Dei in Santa Ana, California. The Ascenders fell by a 28-24 final and will look to bounce back this Friday against Northwestern Miami.
