Camp season brings some potential changes to 2018 recruiting.

The summer camp circuit is always interesting at Ohio State. The coaching staff puts so much value into seeing players live and in person, and if a prospect is good enough to earn an offer at that point, then it's a safe bet that the Buckeyes may really want that particular prospect.

Last night, my esteemed colleague took a look at some of the more noteworthy names that were in attendance. While he didn't take part in drills, top wide receiver target Kamryn Babb was probably the headliner of the group. But it was a pair of new 2018 offers that could have the most impact on Urban Meyer's latest and perhaps greatest recruiting class.

A few weeks back, we discussed Tony Alford's efforts with Zamir White, the nation's top tailback. The Buckeyes have clearly honed in on White as the back they'd love to complement Brian Snead in the future backfield, but a new name has now entered the fray, and he too had been looking at a June decision timeline.

To say that Master Teague has been impressive at his most recent camp outings would be a vast understatement. The three-star tailback has clocked blazing forty times in front of both the Alabama and now Ohio State staffs. He recorded a 4.31 time yesterday and had the same blistering time when he stole the show in Tuscaloosa a week ago.

Say what you will about inflated forty times at these events, but there weren't a whole lot of similar numbers from other prospects. Teague also checked in at solid 5-foot-11 and 212 pounds. His composite rating has him listed as the country's No. 25 tailback. 247Sports is much higher on the Murfreesboro, Tennessee star as he checks in as a four-star and the nation's No. 8 tailback.

With a Buckeye offer now in hand, Ohio State immediately jumps up toward the top of his list along with schools like Auburn and Georgia. Interestingly, had the Buckeyes not made the move, the odds were in favor of Teague committing to Georgia sometime this month. The same Georgia team that may be out in front for the aforementioned Zamir White.

The coming days and weeks will be especially interesting as we wait to see how Ohio State handles this situation. Do they ask Teague to hold off until after June 27 when the White decision has been made? Is that something Teague would be willing to do?

On a related note, Tavion Thomas didn't include the Buckeyes in his recent list of top schools, and the Teague development may very well put a fork in that one. Though the Ohio State staff started backing off a long time ago.

Nebraska wide receiver commit Cameron Brown was a surprising addition to Friday's camp The St. Louis three-star is a teammate of Kamryn Babb's and did enough while in Columbus to earn a Buckeye offer.

Zach Smith and Zone Six haven't added a pure wideout yet for the 2018 class, and the Brown offer is interesting given that the expectation is for two or three new additions come signing day.

There's very little doubt that Babb is the top target, and then players like L'Christian Smith and Rondale Moore also remain very much in the picture. Smith being one of the country's more athletic specimens and Moore may wind up as the nation's best slot wideout.

At 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, the Nebraska commit recorded over 1,000 yards receiving, found the end zone 11 times, and had four interceptions as a junior. Brown's biggest asset is probably his speed, which could help him to find his way into the class if he so chooses.

Brown has been a member of Nebraska's 2018 class for a little over a month now. He holds offers from Georgia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin but added two big ones recently with the Crimson Tide and now the Buckeyes.

The Huskers managed to take a wideout from the Buckeyes late in the 2017 process. Ohio State may be looking to return the favor.
