The Hurry Up is your nightly dose of updates from the Ohio State football recruiting trail, keeping tabs on the latest from commits and targets from around the country.

INCOMING BOOM?

Bellflower, California, St. John Bosco four-star safety Jaiden Woodbey will announce his college decision within the next hour, and all signs point toward Ohio State gaining its third commitment from the Class of 2018.

The biggest obstacle in the Buckeyes' pursuit of the 6-foot-2, 205-pound Woodbey was the fact that he'd never been to campus. But with his recent visit for Junior Day, there's no reason to think he chooses Nebraska, Oklahoma or USC this evening.

Woodbey recently said he was in no hurry to make a decision, so it'll be interesting to see if his commitment holds for nearly a year.

ABSOLUTELY STACKED

Though likely overshadowed by the Super Bowl, Yoakum, Texas, four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore announced that he is transferring to IMG Academy for his senior season. He will join fellow targets Verdis Brown, Houston Griffith, T.J. Pledger, Brendan Radley-Hiles and Taron Vincent in Bradenton, Florida.

“I chose to come to IMG because I believe they will help develop my body both academically and physically to compete at the next level,” Moore told Eleven Warriors.

The 6-foot-1, 168-pound Moore is considered the eighth-best receiver and the No. 60 prospect overall in the Class of 2018. He recently included Ohio State in his Top 14 alongside Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.

Though it will not have an impact on his decision, Moore's twin, Jordan, committed to the Aggies on Christmas Eve.

BATTLING THE BULLDOGS

Norcross, Georgia, Greater Atlanta Christian four-star running back Kyler McMichael announced on Twitter Monday afternoon he has received a scholarship offer from Ohio State.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound McMichael is considered the 25th-best running back and the No. 194 prospect overall in the Class of 2018. He rushed for 1,493 yards and 16 touchdowns to earn more than a dozen offers from schools such as Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

McMichael becomes the 21st underclassmen from the state of Georgia to earn an offer from Ohio State in the last year, a list which includes his teammate Chris Hinton.

SET FOR THE NEXT DECADE?

Ohio State schedules games so far in advance we already know the Buckeyes will play at Notre Dame in 2023. So it should come as no surprise to hear the staff already has a quarterback on its radar who could possibly lead the team into South Bend as a redshirt senior.

“[Recruiting coordinator Ed Terwilliger] tells me that the coaches are really interested and all,” Hampton, Arkansas, dual-threat quarterback Terry Lambert told Eleven Warriors. “I love Ohio State. They are in my Top 3. I like their tradition and their football program is so awesome. They have the best fan base, too. I believe that if I suit up in a Buckeyes uniform, I can bring Ohio State back-to-back-to-back-to-back national championships. I want to work under coach [Urban] Meyer and bring him much success.”

The 5-foot-8, 169-pound Lambert isn't rated by any major recruiting sites nor does he have any offers, but programs such as Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon and Washington have all shown major interest.

“Coach T said that all I gotta do is show myself in person. That's what all the high-powered Division I college says to me,” Lambert said. “They are all on the verge of offering me, I just have to come meet them. If I get offered by Ohio State, I might commit on the spot.”

Lambert said he hopes to make a visit soon, though it may not happen until he can take an official visit during his senior year.
