The Hurry Up is your nightly dose of updates from the Ohio State football recruiting trail, keeping tabs on the latest from commits and targets from around the country.

Some of the nation's premier high school prospects descended upon Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday to check in for Sunday's Under Armour All-American Game, including Ohio State commits Marcus Williamson, Isaiah Pryor and Trevon Grimes.

While Grimes won't play for Team Highlight as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in late September, Williamson and Pryor will look to help Team Armour avoid a third-straight loss in the all-star exhibition.

Defensive tackle target Marvin Wilson, athlete Markquese Bell and safety Xavier McKinney will also play in the game. Wilson earlier tonight included Ohio State in his Top 5, while Bell and McKinney will make their final decision live on ESPN that afternoon.

Bell will choose between Maryland and Ohio State, while McKinney will pick among Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State.

FIVE-STAR RESTAURANT

Schools typically roll out the red carpet for their top recruiting targets, but it's always a surprise to hear something like food ultimately swung a prospect's decision.

“A&M had the best food hands down,” Texas A&M four-star linebacker commit Anthony Hines III told ESPN's Jeremy Crabtree. “We ate everything you can imagine, but they had these awesome crab cakes. There is an alum that owns a restaurant and they were the best thing I've ever eaten.”

The 6-foot-3, 222-pound Hines picked the Aggies over Ohio State earlier this month, and was always a long-shot to leave the state. But what makes the quote above interesting is the noise that surrounded his official visit to Columbus in early November, which of course had to do with the food Hines and his family expected to eat over the weekend.

Ohio State ultimately finished behind A&M, TCU and UCLA for Hines' services.

DON'T EVER TALK TO ME OR MY SON AGAIN

Ohio State is actively looking to add a third offensive lineman to the current recruiting class, but one prospect it has no shot with is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, four-star C.J. Thorpe.

His father, Chris, played at Penn State and told Urban Meyer recruiting his son wasn't worth the coach's time.

“Urban Meyer called my dad and he told him he should stop recruiting me because it's not going to happen,” Thorpe told ESPN's Tom VanHaaren. “After I got my Penn State offer, Urban called my dad and then he fell off the face of the earth.”

Thorpe, the 11th-best offensive guard in the country, chose to follow in his father's footsteps and committed to Penn State in April. But he always wondered why Ohio State didn't keep in touch.

“I didn't know what happened and thought Ohio State was just not offering me, but I talked to my dad a year after the call and he was like, 'Yeah, I told him he can't recruit you,'” Thorpe said.
