Every weekend in the fall, thousands of high school football teams line up and take their shot at prep glory. The Sunday morning Prep Tracker is your final stop for the names, numbers and scores that mattered to Ohio State's recruiting efforts.

JAELEN GILL HAS MONSTER GAME TO END 2015 SEASON

Sophomore Jaelen Gill has had impressive games this season, but he saved his best for last. Gill was responsible for all six of Westerville South's (OH) touchdown's Friday night in the 42-35 win over rival Westerville North (OH).

Gill rushed for 281 yards, averaged 13.4 yards per carry and rushed for 5 touchdowns. The talented sophomore also had a 38-yard touchdown reception. We don't have highlights of his impressive game, but below are two videos of him in action. The first is Gill against Westerville Central (OH) and the second is a compilation of games through the 17th of October:

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2016 COMMIT KAREEM FELDER

Kareem Felder and Franklin (MD) did work against Dulaney (MD) Friday night. Felder's team won 56-14. In the maxpreps.com video below below you will see Felder's supreme athletic ability in full display. He is a dynamo on offense, defense and special teams. Felder is too fast and quick for players at the high school level.

DESOTO (TX) AND TRISTEN WALLACE PLAYOFF BOUND

DeSoto started the season with consecutive losses. After four games the Eagles were 1-3. Many schools in that situation probably would have packed up any playoff aspirations. The Eagles are different. From The Dallas Morning News:

"This is what we expect at DeSoto," DeSoto coach Todd Peterman said. "I don't know any other feeling here."

DeSoto now has a 4-5 record after defeating Midlothian (TX) 38-22 Friday night. Tristen Wallace, a 2016 Ohio State QB commit, led all players with 193 yards rushing (11.4 ypc) and 2 touchdowns. On a wet and windy night he was 2/8 (.250), for 13 yards passing.

Even with a losing record DeSoto has enough points to enter the 2015 Texas 6A Division I playoffs. If the Eagles defeat Duncanville Thursday night they will be the No. 1 seed in District 8-6A.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF 2016 COMMIT JONATHON COOPER'S RIGHT KNEE?

Gahanna Lincoln's (OH) Jonathon Cooper injured his right knee last week against Lancaster (OH). Thursday, Cooper and his Lions' teammates took on Pickerington Central on a wet and choppy grass field. How did he do? The slick field and Central's big lead forced Cooper out of the game early in the third quarter.

Jeff Logan and Randy Rhinehart of The CW Columbus' Thursday Night Lights discuss Jonathon Cooper's performance. Cooper is No. 35 in white with the knee brace on his right leg:

GAVIN CUPP COMES THROUGH FOR LEIPSIC

Leipsic (OH) (4-6) was playing for its playoff lives Friday night against Hopewell-Loudon (OH). In big moments big players shine. That's exactly what Gavin Cupp did for Leipsic.

Per The Review Times:

At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, Leipsic’s Gavin Cupp is regularly the largest player on the football field.
Late in the fourth quarter, the Vikings senior came through in the clutch with a play as big as his stature.
Cupp broke through the line to sack Hopewell-Loudon’s Austin Tooker on a 2-point conversion try that would’ve tied the game with 2:23 remaining.
Instead the Vikings ran out the clock in three plays and survived to post a 33-31 Blanchard Valley Conference Valley Division victory on Friday night.

Cupp's thoughts on the playoff saving play:

“I pinned my ears back and went,” Cupp said of the play. “I knew how big that play was right then. They could’ve sent it to overtime.
“My teammates look at me to make these kinds of plays and I had to get it done.”

Leipsic (5-5) enters the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in Division 7 Region 24 and hosts Arlington.

CHECKING IN ON 2018 TARGET L'CHRISTIAN SMITH

L'Christian Smith of Huber Heights Wayne (OH) is an athlete Ohio State would like to have as a wide receiver. As a freshman the 6'5 200 pound Smith was a key offensive weapon for the Warriors and their 2nd place finish in the 2014 state playoffs. He entered this game with 747 yards, 24.1 ypr and 11 TDs. L'Christian Smith is a deep threat Ohio State needs and he is currently a 100% crystal ball to the Buckeyes.

Highlights of L'Christian Smith from Friday's 56-17 win over Centerville:

Smith is big enough and and brave enough to go across the middle. He also has soft hands:

BISHOP LUERS AND AUSTIN MACK MOVE ON

Bishop Luers (IN) (8-3) advance to week 3 of the playoffs after defeating Yorktown (IN) 40-7 Friday night. 2016 Ohio State commit Austin Mack torched Yorktown for 161 yards rushing (17.9 ypc) and 2 touchdowns.

Mack also had a 61-yard touchdown reception.

VIDEO OF TUF BORLAND IN ILLINOIS PLAYOFF GAME

Below is a recap by NCTV17Sports of Bolingbrook's playoff game against Naperville Central.  Tuf Borland is No. 32 in white. Borland finished the game with 9 tackles and was credited with a 0.5 sack. Bolingbrook lost 7-14 and Borland's high school football career comes to a close.

2016 CB PROSPECT TONY BUTLER INJURED

Lakewood St. Edwards defeated 35-28, but lost 3 star cornerback Tony Butler (6-2, 195 pounds) to a left leg injury. In the video below you will see Butler (No. 2 in green) hobble at the top of the screen during the return.

247sports.com has Ohio State's chances of signing Butler at 6%. Arizona State, That Team and Rutgers are ahead of the Buckeyes. If you base where a player is going to commit according to their clothing you will not like the hat Butler is wearing in this video giving an update on his injury.
