Every weekend in the fall, thousands of high school football teams line up and take their shot at prep glory. The Sunday morning Prep Tracker is your final stop for the names, numbers and scores that mattered to Ohio State's recruiting efforts.

JAELEN GILL IMPRESSIVE IN LOSS TO CROSS TOWN RIVAL WESTERVILLE CENTRAL

Westerville South came up short against Westerville Central, but sophomore Jaelen Gill showed why Ohio State is interested in the 2018 prospect. Below you will find an 11W produced highlight video from Friday's game on Time Warner Sports:

JERRON CAGE LEADS WINTON WOODS' DEFENSE TO SHUTOUT WIN

Cincinnati Elder had not been held scoreless in eight seasons. Jerron Cage and the Winton Woods defense accomplished that feat Friday night. Winton Woods' defense only allowed 161 total yards. The run defense was especially stout and only gave up 47 yards on the ground. From the Cincinnati Enquirer:

The last time the Panthers failed to score in a regular season game was Sept. 28, 2007, an 18-0 loss against St. Xavier. The Winton Woods defense, led by defensive linemen Parker, Jerron Cage and Rodney Croom, limited the high-powered Elder offense to just 161 yards and 11 first downs. Senior quarterback Peyton Ramsey completed just 9-of-26 passes for 114 yards.

[...]

“It hasn’t hit me yet but I’m just happy,” said Cage, a junior who has verbally committed to Ohio State. “We figured their two guards and the center weren’t as good as the two tackles so we took advantage of that.”

In two seasons Jerron Cage will get shutouts with the Scarlet and Gray.

RICHARD LeCOUNTE SHINES ON OFFENSE IN BLOW-OUT WIN, CELEBRATES WITH TRIP TO COLUMBUS

Richard LeCounte is known for his defense in the secondary, but Friday night he did damage on the offensive side of the ball. Notes from rivals.com:

All of the Liberty County touchdowns came with LeCounte at quarterback, including a short touchdown run on a zone read. He also had a 50-yard kickoff return and was so excellent as a return man that Thomson avoided kicking to him for the rest of the night. LeCounte's future is on defense but his ability as a return man is a nice bonus for whichever school lands him.

It appears LeCounte's decision is down to two teams:

LeCounte spent the game wearing a pair of Georgia Bulldogs gloves, but also left for Columbus immediately following the game to visit Ohio State. It's been a race between the Buckeyes and Bulldogs for LeCounte pretty much from Day 1, so expect that to continue. LeCounte said he plans on announcing a decision in December.

JAKE HAUSMANN HELPS MOELLER GET FIRST VICTORY OVER ST. IGNATIUS

Cincinnati Moeller entered Saturday nights game 0-5 against Cleveland St. Ignatius all-time. Enter Jake Hausmann and the losing streak disappears. St. Ignatius coach Chuck Kyle discussed his strategy against Hausmann and Moeller with The Plain Dealer:

"We tried to fix the coverages and match up better, but the tight ends were big, and the QB was in a zone," Kyle said. "You've got to knock him out of the zone somehow."

Kyle and St. Ignatius did not solve the puzzle of Moeller quarterback Thomas MacVittie and his connection with Hausmann.

MacVittie passed for 475 yards and six touchdowns against a St. Ignatius secondary that appeared overmatched by Moeller tight ends Dotson and Jake Hausmann. An Ohio State recruit, Hausmann caught seven passes for 189 yards and three scores.

Moeller's win ended a five-game drought that began when the two schools first played in 1989.

KEEPING TABS ON ANTONIO WILLIAMS

Antonio Williams made some ripples on Eleven Warriors last week when he decommitted from Wisconsin. Friday night Williams rushed for 178 yards and a touchdown in his team's loss in conference play. What is more impressive with the 178 yards is that Williams missed all but two plays of the first half with a lower leg injury.
UPDATE: WILLIAMS IS NO. 19

MARCUS WILLIAMSON LIKES TO RETURN KICKOFFS

Marcus Williams and Jaelen Gill were on the wrong side of the scoreboard Friday, but Williamson made the most his two kickoff returns:
