For the first time since the first-round NCAA tournament defeat, Chris Holtmann spoke publicly.
He joined local media for a Zoom press conference on Wednesday to discuss all facets of his team, and he took questions for nearly an entire hour. The fifth-year head coach spoke at length about E.J. Liddell and Duane Washington Jr. entering the NBA draft pool, the state of recruiting, all players being able to transfer and play immediately once, the additions of Joey Brunk and Jamari Wheeler and much more.
Naturally, Holtmann was also asked about how the Buckeyes will respond to the Oral Roberts loss and about where the program sits four years into his tenure.
