Ohio State Falls to No. 5 in AP Poll Following Loss to West Virginia

The Buckeyes entered Sunday as the No. 2 team in the nation, but after a 67-59 loss to West Virginia, Ohio State fell to No. 5 in Monday's AP Poll.

Ohio State remains the nation's highest-ranked Big Ten squad with No. 12 Michigan, No. 14 Michigan State, No. 21 Penn State and No. 23 Iowa all cracking the rankings.

Two of the Buckeyes' opponents this season cracked the latest rankings with Villanova checking in at No. 10 and Kentucky at No. 17.
