Ohio State forward Keita Bates-Diop currently has the sixth-best odds to win the AP College Basketball Player of the Year award, according to the most recent odds released by Bovada.

Even after Ohio State's back-to-back losses against Penn State and Michigan, in which Bates-Diop combined to make just nine of 28 shots from the field and five of 10 free throws, the Big Ten Player of the Year frontrunner still has 14/1 odds to win the national award, according to the betting service.

Bates-Diop currently ranks second in the Big Ten in points per game (19.5) and third in the conference in rebounds per game (8.8).

Oklahoma's Trae Young, who leads all Division I basketball players with 29 points per game, is the heavy favorite to win the national award, with 2/3 odds.

Villanova's Jalen Brunson (10/3), Arizona's DeAndre Ayton (6/1), Xavier's Trevon Bluiett (6/1) and Duke's Marvin Bagley III (7/1) are the only other players to receive odds.
