This is an ESPN article about the NCAA granting a 9th year of eligibility to LB Solomon Tuliaupupu. He will be 26 years old next month. That to me, is less important than asking what kind of a major or degree program is he in that would allow him to attend college for 9 years. His bio only shows 2 seasons at USC and one season( current) at Montana State. But the article claims he's in his 9th year of eligibility. Can someone explain this?
