Nine current Ohio State athletes will be participating in the Tokyo Olympics, which begin in two weeks.
Four of those Buckeyes met with reporters at Ohio State on Friday:
- Anavia Battle, who will run for the U.S. Olympic track team in the 200-meter dash
- Eric Harrison, who will run the 4x100-meter relay for Trinidad & Tobago
- Henry Leverett, a member of the U.S. Olympic pistol team
- Diego Cervantes, a member of Mexico's Olympic fencing team
In the videos above and below, you can hear what each of them had to say about what it means to be Olympians, how they got to this point and what it means to represent Ohio State on the Olympic stage.
