If you an NFL fan do you like the new kickoff rules? I think the punishment for a kick not landing in the landing zone is too severe.

The 2025 NFL kickoff rules require the kicking team to line up on the opposing 40-yard line, while the return team players line up in the "set-up zone" (between their 30- and 35-yard lines), with only two returners in the "landing zone" (goal line to the 20-yard line). All players on the kicking and receiving teams (except for the returner(s)) must wait until the ball hits the ground or is touched by a returner before moving. A kick that reaches the landing zone must be returned, and a touchback for a kick not reaching the landing zone is now spotted at the 40-yard line, while a touchback from the end zone is spotted at the 35-yard line.
