With the season winding down to the last 26 games of the season, the Cleveland Guardians are 68-68 and still in the hunt for a wild card spot. The team is coming off a good 4-2 homestand vs. the Rays and Mariners, with a loss yesterday to the Boston Red Sox. Cleveland is last in the AL in runs per game, averaging only 3.8. 

Several rookies have made their MLB debut in the past month, namely LHP Parker Messick, 1B--OF C.J. Kayfus, and OF George Valera. 

Kyle Manzardo now has 24 HR's for the season, and has been a much needed boost to a struggling offense. Brayan Rocchio has raised his batting average almost 40 points since being called up from Columbus.

Cleveland must win all their remaining series to stay alive for a wild card. It is a tall task for sure, but I'm quite sure that the team will not quit no matter the circumstances.
