Cody Garbrandt, who fortune brought to this Earth via Ohio, KO' previously 21-0 Thomas Almeida in spectacular fashion tonight at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. After two flurries that clearly dazed Almeida (watch the off-balance right high kick by Almeida, a striker of his quality would only look so bad if hurt) Garbrandt unleashed a clean right that shut out the lights, big John McCarthy was too slow to save Almeida from a few hammer fists. After the fight, Garbrandt began petitioning for a spot on the upcoming Cleveland event (203 I believe). He will be on that card, and would be worth a watch. Kid may be champ one day.
