One of the most commonly discussed things about Ohio State football under Urban Meyer is the culture (when we're not using our expertise in coaching determine who should be hired and fired).
So, when I ran across this article from Tom Verducci from Sports Illustrated, I thought about the relationship between championships and character. Seeing as how baseball (opening day) and the Buckeyes (spring practice) are both inching toward feeding our hunger, it seemed like relevant discussion.
It's an interesting read, and the correlation between team chemistry and winning is uncanny.
It is also interesting to read that the top teams listed in the article are all underestimated when they're projected by metrics that only crunch numbers. See, intangibles do matter.
