CLEVELAND, Ohio –St. Ignatius football coach Chuck Kyle has been selected for the National Federation of State High School Association Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
Kyle will be one of four coaches to be inducted July 2 at the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada. This is the 34th NFHS Hall of Fame Class.
Kyle has won 11 state football championships, the most of any coach in Ohio. He took over his alma mater in 1983 and has a 321-83-1 record. He last won a state title in 2011, and won five straight between 1991 and 1995.
Kyle’s teams also set a state record with 22 consecutive playoff appearances (1988-2009).
