As most of you know, Steve Bartman is the most infamous man, maybe in the history of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.  For any of you not aware, he is believed by many Cubs fans to be the reason why the Cubs didn't make it to the World Series in 2003 as he interfered with a Moises Alou foul ball, causing Alou not to secure the catch.  See the image below:

2003 was the last time the Cubs made a run in the post season, and now since they're primed and could be heading back into the playoffs, some Cubs fans started a funding campaign to get Bartman to the wildcard game in Pittsburgh, raising money to cover his airfare, ticket for admission, and hotel stay, plus some extra spending money... But Bartman has declined. 

It's refreshing in a way, I mean Bartman could've parlayed all of this into a career, probably made a ton of money, still been the most hated man in Chicago, but never had to work a day in his life.  Instead he chooses to remain private, work at a job, and do his own thing.  I respect the hell out of that.  Here is a link to the story:
