I'm normally more of a critic of the way the brass has been running the Indians organization in recent years; however...
The young starting pitching down the stretch has been very impressive. Some of the best starting pitching I've personally seen in a Cleveland uniform. Salazar, House, Kluber, Bauer, and guys not far away from *getting it*, like Zach McCalister.
Even tonight, Cleveland enigma Carrasco tosses a 2-hit, 12K shut out.
Between arguably the best young, prospective starting rotation in the A.L., and core position players nearly as young and still in the early parts of their careers in Brantley, Gomes, Kipnis, Chiz, Santana along with a more than serviceable bullpen with Shaw, Allen and Rzepczynski....dare I ask.....
...is the Tribe closing in on something special in the next year or two?
Keep in mind, these guys are all signed to forever and a day.
