Dasan McCullough
ATH Dasan McCullough (.9784) couldn't pass up the opportunity to play with his dad and brothers at Indiana. McCullough became the first player in Ohio State's 2022 class to decommit.

This little series will follow the rankings of Ohio State's 2022 commitment class. Going forward, Charting Ohio State's 2022 Committed Players will run on the last Friday of each month...unless it's for April. Then we'll run it on the first Friday of May. Why? Because the idiot putting this series together doesn't know how to use a calendar.

It is always interesting to see the ups and downs that each player's ratings will take between now and the first Wednesday of February.

*Kyion Grayes, Ryan Turner and Kye Stokes are not included in January's team average.

Five Notes

  1. Quinn Ewers is currently the highest rated quarterback commit in Ohio State history.
  2. CJ Hicks and Kye Stokes were the only players to have their ratings increase between March and April.
  3. Nine of Ohio State's twelve committed players had a ratings decrease.
  4. OT Tegra Tshabola's drop of 150 points was the largest of any Buckeye this period.
  5. Dasan McCullough became the first player in Ohio State's 2022 class to decommit. The last time a Buckeye player had a change of heart was 2021 commit Tunmise Adeleye on April 15, 2020.

Ryan Day already has three 5★ recruits in the 2022 class. The only Ohio State recruiting classes to have more than three 5★ recruits were 2002 (4), 2008 (4), 2017 (5) and 2021 (5).

Decommitted Players
Dasan McCullough decommitted on April 25, 2021 and pledged to Indiana on the same day.

It's a Fact
Michigan only has two 5★ players between 2020 and today. Current Wolverine commit, Will Johnson, is one of the two players. At this point, Ohio State has three 5★ players in its 2022 class. Since 2020, the Buckeyes have eleven blue chip players.
