I don't typically create topics here, but as a Clevelander, I pay a bit more attention to recruits and players from my neck of the woods. Some of us probably recall hearing that incoming 2016 recruit Demario McCall was hit by a stray bullet about a year ago at an eastside park in Cleveland (Luke Easter). That story is here: http://247sports.com/Article/Top100-RB-Demario-McCall-survives-gun-shot-31428860
On the Plain Dealer's website this evening is an article about US Marshals showing up at McCall's house in N. Ridgeville to serve a dangerous fugitive warrant on his uncle, who lives at the house. Instead of finding the uncle (who wasn't home), the agents discovered several pounds of pot, scales, and firearm ammunition. McCall was in school at the time, and two occupants (his uncle's sister and her husband) were arrested.
Obviously, none of this reflects badly on McCall, he appears to just have some bad luck (being in the wrong place at the wrong time), but he definitely needs to get down to Columbus and out of NE Ohio ASAP.
