He ranked Edmonds 6th overall in a loaded field of 20 elite quarterbacks and noted that while Brady isn't the most fluid or flashy athlete, he was one of the most consistent throwers at the event. What stood out most was that Edmonds reportedly produced the highest spin rate of any quarterback in attendance, allowing his passes to cut through the strong California coastal winds with exceptional accuracy and ball stability. The analyst described him as a prototypical Big Ten quarterback at 6'4"+ and 220 pounds, saying he now understands exactly why Ohio State targeted him.
