The excuses don’t hold water anymore. First game kinks (Texas), Let down game (Indiana), Rust game (Miami)… sadly they may all have individual merit, so over-correcting can be dangerous, but it’s tough not to tweak things when these are the results. 

We are witnessing an interesting fork in the road of Ryan Day’s career. Adapt or die. All coaches come to this moment, only the strong (and smart) survive. Is he bright enough to recognize some parts of the game have passed him by? Does he have the emotional intelligence to recognize this?
