I do not like the CPF rules that resulted in overmatched group of five teams being completely overmatched in these playoff games. Let's watch good games with evenly matched teams.
The only time a group of five team should make it is when thry earn it by being ranked in the top twelve like when Cincinnatti earned its way into the four team playoff.
In conjunction with that, a separate group of five playoff and national championship would be great for group of five conferences and its teams and fans. We already have FBS and FCS playoffs. Group of five could slot nicely in between. More interesting football games for football fans and players, especially for the players and fans of mid majors.
