Yesterday, the site ran a poll asking whether supporters of the Buckeyes would prefer Ohio State play Texas A&M or Miami in OSU's first CFP game after the opening round concludes this upcoming weekend. A statistically significant sample of over 3,000 fans indicated that just under two in every three of you would want the Hurricanes over the Aggies.
Go figure most people would want the lower seed! That said, we will repeat the question here today for This Week's Question to give you a chance to make your case with a greater explanation: Would you rather Ohio State play Miami or Texas A&M in the Buckeyes' first CFP game?
Personally, I don't think I have much of a preference, to be honest. One of the easy arguments for Miami is that playing Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl would effectively make it a home game for the Aggies at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. However, I am also a firm believer in the trope that iron sharpens iron, so if the Buckeyes are ultimately going to defend their national title, it would serve them better to face the best team available to them in tuning up for the next round against (likely) Georgia and a potential rematch with Indiana in the championship game.
