Just taking accountability where it's due.
I spoke this into existence. I felt like I sold my soul to beat *ichigan this year. I would trade beating ttun over a BIG ship this year. I said those words out loud before The Game and leading up to this game the writing was on the wall something funky was going to happen.
I reside in Indy, and have always been a Buckeyes fan. Everyone knows it, our family dog's name is Buckeye. This year IU has a bigger chip on their shoulder and 0 distractions the past few weeks leading up to the game. We didn't win with Humility last year in The Shoe and while certainly disappointed about the L, I'll give IU their flowers. Straight up, they executed better and had a better game plan. I'm thankful I stayed humble leading up to this game, especially while residing in "enemy" territory.
If you told me before the game our D would hold them to 13 points I'd say we win 99 out of 100 of those games. I was so hyped after the clean hit Curry laid on Mendoza, my wife was in distress, like we shouldn't be rooting on a hurt player and from that point on I knew we were cooked, the dude wasn't phased, they took our best shot and kept swinging; unlike us who turtled.
As always, Go Bucks, I'm sorry it's my fault.
