In all of the talk about beating Michigan and going for another title I wanted to try and describe what I think Julian Sayin has done to somehow up the level of a national championship program. I also don't think he is receiving enough credit from pundits and even fans for how amazing this Qb play is for ANYONE. Not even mentioning it's his first year. 

Ohio State has great talent and always will (duh). The offensive weapons last year were probably the best overall in OSU history. From Henderson/Judkins to Ekbuga/Smith/Tate you will probably never find a better group than that. 

What has Julian brought to the table that has upped the efficiency of the offense and turned this offense into something unstoppable? I believe it is the processing speed, accuracy, pocket movement, quick release and decision making of Julian Sayin. As a first year starter I am going to state that what I have seen is the best Qb play in the history of Ohio State football. Of all traits you want to see in a Qb I would grade Julian as A or A+ in all categories. 

Howard/Stroud/Fields/Smith/Haskins do not need to be downgraded to appreciate why I feel Julian is the best ever here, but individual decisions game by game do show the difference. If Stroud checks down the ball even ONCE or locates a wide open TE during the Georgia game on the last drive OSU most likely wins another title. I love Howard but at no point did he play anywhere close to the level Sayin is at now.  I could pick multiple drives and games where each of the other Qb's in the program's history were not ruthless and efficient as Sayin. 

I am stating on record that Julian Sayin is playing the best Qb of anyone in program history. What an oxymoron if he loses the Heisman because he has been so good that he hasn't needed an "emotional moment."
