I feel a little torn about the post game yesterday. Torn in that we should have upped the ante in regards to Michigan’s flag planting in 2022 and 2024 in Columbus vs winning with humility.
I don’t think we should of planted a flag but I do think we should of upped the ante along the lines of burning or somehow destroying a University of Michigan flag that the Buckeyes would of brought with them for such an occasion. Metaphorically I feel like our approach to that program should be the quote from the Untouchables “They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue” Send a message to the program and fan base.
Then I think Ryan Day is a good man, definitely a better man than me, I think there is wisdom in his approach to
winning with humility, it makes us look better than Michigan. Anyway it's just a football game. I'm not sure what the penalty from the NCAA for upping the ante would be.
What are people's thoughts on these two different approaches?
