Ohio State remains the standard-bearer in college football.
After a 27–9 beatdown of Michigan, the Buckeyes stayed perched at No. 1 in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25 rankings. Ohio State holds all 63 first place votes in the Coaches Poll, while they earned 61 of 66 first place votes in the AP Top 25.
Indiana, Georgia, Oregon, and Texas Tech round out the top five in the AP Top 25. Ole Miss jumps into the top five of the Coaches Poll with the other spots identical to the AP.
All eyes now turn towards Indianapolis where No. 1 Ohio State will face No. 2 Indiana Saturday night in what will be the most hyped Big Ten Championship Game in history. The Buckeyes opened as 5.5-point favorites over the Hoosiers.
