We are lucky that we have the best coach in college football, but many wondered about the state of the program after The Game last November. 11W was filled with posts about who the next head coach should be. Buckeye legend Mike Vrabel's name was repeatedly mentioned. It was disappointing to see the vocal minority attack him and criticize his coaching ability. He was fantastic in Tennessee until management insisted on giving him CFL level talent. What he is doing in New England is nothing short of remarkable. Who had them winning 7 in a row and leading the AFC East on their bingo cards? Not me. He might be a better fit as an NFL coach, but he would certainly be a fantastic college coach if he ever decided to do so. Nobody has ever offered proof of the supposed comment "Vrabel said he would hate recruiting".
