Happy Monday, Ohio State fans!

In case you missed Andy Anders' article after the Buckeyes' 34-10 win over Purdue this past weekend or when I included the videos in Social Reactions, Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith each campaigned for their teammate to win the Heisman Trophy following the game on Saturday.

Bearing that in mind, This Week's Question asks: would you rather see Sayin or Smith win the Heisman Trophy this season?

At a glance, one would assume Smith would be the more popular answer, but the case for Sayin has some more shine on it when given some thought. Sayin would be the first quarterback under Ryan Day to win the award and first for Ohio State in roughly two decades since Troy Smith took home the honor during the 2006-07 season.

Sayin would also be just the third redshirt freshman to join the Heisman Club after Jameis Winston and Johnny Manziel did so in the 2013-14 and 2012-13 seasons, respectively. Perhaps most importantly, Sayin winning prior to the College Football Playoff presumably lends itself to a healthier overall outlook for Ohio State's offense as a whole; whereas, Smith winning would imply most of the production and success has gone through himself.

Of course, players beyond the quarterback position rarely win the award in the modern era despite the recent triumphs of DeVonta Smith and Travis Hunter, so opting for the superstar Buckeye receiver instead seems more than understandable. But it's a discussion worth considering down the stretch as Sayin and Smith head towards a likely clash with Indiana and Fernando Mendoza in the Big Ten Championship to determine the winner of the highest individual honor in the sport.

So who would you prefer, Laser Show Sayin or JJ?
