I have not kept up on the chatter about this, but do you think Sayin can be a capable runner, either on a scramble, or a designed run? I assume one of two things, either the coaches don’t trust him to take off, or they are protecting their young QB from taking too many hits over a long season.
I ask this because I am sure many of you watch a lot of college football and can see what a backbreaker it is on a defense when a QB takes off on a 3rd and 12 to gain a first down. I have seen Sayin take off a couple times trying to avoid a sack, with mixed results, but there have certainly been quite a few plays with a lot of green in front of him.
It is always good to have another arrow in our quiver.
