Greg Schiano, Luke Fickell, Chris Ash, Jeff Hafley all became head coaches but did not excel.   The worst of them is Jim Knowles, although he did not become a head coach caused the defense to regress and the firing of Franklin.   I heard Brian Hartlines name as a possible head coach in some predictions but yet to hear Matt Patricia's name.  Has he been linked to any openings?
