I mean it is fucking embarrassing that the defense can delay sending substitutions on the field until the play clock is well below 10 and force the offense into a potential delay of game because of that due to the official holding the snap. In those scenarios the defense should be called for delay of game if the play clock runs down, not the offense. Watching that happen today and Day having to burn a timeout because of it was infuriating.
