First, credit to Day, Pantoni and the staff for navigating this version of the NIL world successfully and sticking to the strategy of, where possible/feasible, paying proven players over unproven recruits. I have to imagine (with no inside sources, so I'll be explicit in saying I don't know this to be true) that the strategy helped keep players like Caden Curry and Kenyatta Jackson and will continue to help us keep future contributors like Aaron Scott, Mylan Graham, Malik Hartford etc who would be starters at their positions pretty much anywhere else. 

So after 4 games, who would be on your wishlist to pay among current players who have a decision to make re: the NFL? 

Here's my 5(ish) - who did I miss? 

1a. Arvell Reese: looking more and more like a top 20 pick. Not likely, but obviously would love it. I believe in the guys behind him, but players with this athleticism, size, versatility and IQ are extraordinarily rare. 

1b. Kayden McDonald: ditto here, except the depth behind him is more of a question mark

2. Beau Atkinson: with Curry and KJ gone, this would be a big keep

3. Austin Siereveld: I doubt he would love, but I hope we make it worth his while to come back and anchor the line for another year

4. Luke Montgomery: absolute beast in the middle 

5. Max Klare: he and Jelani Thurman will be a formidable TE duo, and as athletic a group we've had there in a while. With Nate Roberts coming on, this would give us another awesome TE room
