While I'm enjoying this defense and the team in general this year, the thought comes to mind that maybe Matt Patricia will bolt for the NFL either this year or next, or possibly take a HC job in college. While I hope it doesn't happen, the possibility is there. 

While I feel for him, Luke Fickell doesn't look like the guy in Wisconsin. He's struggled to find an offensive identity and even his defenses have had a hard time. He might not be able to secure a HC job for a bit after this. 

Here's the question - if we had an open DC position, would you hire Luke Fickell?

Me, I'm going with No. I love what Luke has done for OSU, I am not sure he is the best we could get at this point.
