Now that Ryan Day is firmly passed Urban Meyer's shadows, and a national Title winner :) -- I was curious how his tenure stacks up to the rest of CFB.
Here's a trivia question: name the only 3 B1G Coaches with more tenure than Ryan Day? (or 4, if you give Schiano extra credit for his previous Rutgers reign)
Another trivia question: how many head coaches have more tenure than Ryan Day?

We all know Kirk Ferentz is the only coach hired in the last century; however, Day has more tenure than 13 of 18 B1G Coaches. Hard to believe, but HALF the coaches in the B1G are on year 3 or less.
Also, fun fact, Day leads in winning percentage.
Another fun fact: there are 100 total seasons of coaching (including 2025) in the Current B1G Slate, Ferentz has 27% of them, more than 1 in 4.
Here's everybody...
start | YEARS | Qty | Notables |

Wow, 97 of the head coaches are 2022 or greater, meaning 71.3% of coaches are on their first recruiting cycle.
And only 18 coaches (13.2%) have more tenure than Ryan Day. Wow.
