Julian is about to make his first start. I decided to take a look back and see how other OSU QB's did in their first start. Going through the years, it appears that Ryan's QB's have done especially well in their first start. Hopefully this bodes well for Julian's chances on Saturday.

CJ lit up Oregon in his second game 35-54, 484 yards, 3TD's, 1 INT.
Justin's first big game was PSU, 16-22 188 yards, 16 carries, 68 yards.
Dwayne saved the day in 2017 against UM, but his first big start was his 5th, @PSU, 22-39, 270, 3 TD's - 1int.
McCord's first big game was 4 games into 2023, @ND. All of us should remember that game well as Kyle led the comeback in the 4th quarter. He was 21-37, 240 yards, 0-0.
Note: Kyle actual first game was Akron in 2021, he was 13-18, 319 yards, 2 Tds, 1INT in emergency relief for CJ. I listed his first start as the season's starter in the 2023 season above.
