In my case, it happened this morning when I was sitting in highway traffic in Connecticut and, two cars ahead of me, was a scarlet SUV with the license plate ‘WAR-MCHN”—and all I could think of was that it stood for “War on Michigan” or “It’s War vs Michigan.”

And this weekend, on a somewhat related note, my nephew and his 7-year-old son ran into Eli Manning—who was very gracious by the way—and all I could think of was: did  you ask Eli how much confidence he really has in his nephew bringing his A game in the hostile environment Arch will be playing in on Saturday?
