Well, I can't believe we've made it through another off season and this time it comes with the honor of raising the National Championship Trophy. 

This season brings a lot of change in all areas of football and a chance to prove all the doubters wrong, once again. 

The first week of the season, we welcome the number one ranked longhorns into the Shoe and without a doubt the toughest opening opponent we've ever faced. Not going to go into the fact that many "so called" experts (laughable) are saying the horns will knock off the Buckeyes in Columbus but I fully expect our Buckeyes will be playing with a chip on their shoulders and will ready for battle from the opening kickoff. 

After losing many great and memorable players to the NFL draft, both teams have a lot of unknowns and in my opinion, our newest offensive coordinator Coach Hartline will be throwing haymakers at the horns all game long so I expect a high scoring game and defensive plays will be at a premium. 

My final score prediction:

Ohio State - 34

Texas - 22

For what it's worth - I'm not fond of their hype video - seems very uninspiring.
